Stopping care and payments

The short version

There is no membership, no long-term contract and no automatic billing, so there is nothing to cancel to stop future charges. Each payment is a separate step you approve. Ask your coordinator before you pay how a payment is handled if you stop.

You pay for three kinds of things, each only when you reach that step: lab work, a provider fee that covers your provider's visits and reviews for a set period, and, if a provider prescribes treatment, a medication supply paid in full up front for a set period. Your coordinator explains each cost before you pay, and you get a receipt by email.

How to stop

You can stop at any time by not ordering your next supply. Tell your coordinator, or call (866) 744-0454, so no further steps are scheduled.

If you are on treatment, talk to your provider before you stop. Some medications should not be stopped suddenly, and your provider can tell you how to stop safely and whether follow-up labs are needed.

Changing or canceling an appointment

You can reschedule or cancel a lab appointment or provider visit by calling your coordinator or (866) 744-0454.

Lab work

Lab work is paid when the panel your provider orders is arranged. Follow-up panels are separate steps, each explained and approved before it is ordered.

Provider fee

The provider fee covers your provider's visits and reviews for a set period. It is paid again only if you choose to continue after that period.

Medication supply

A medication supply is ordered only if your provider's prescription covers it and you say yes. It is paid in full up front for a set period, filled by a licensed pharmacy and shipped to you.

If a shipment arrives damaged, incomplete or is not what was ordered, contact your coordinator right away so it can be fixed with the pharmacy.

If a provider decides treatment isn't appropriate

If a provider decides treatment is not appropriate for you, nothing is prescribed and you do not buy a medication supply. Your lab work and provider fee paid for an evaluation. Ask your coordinator before you pay how a payment is handled if you stop.

Questions about a payment

Ask your coordinator, or call (866) 744-0454, before you pay. If you pay for your own care, you also have rights under the No Surprises Act described on our Good Faith Estimate page.

Receipts and records

You get a receipt by email for every payment. Your coordinator can send copies of past receipts on request.
