Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, book care and reach us. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and if something doesn't work for you, call (866) 744-0454 and a coordinator will help.
Our goal
We design and build this website to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That standard covers things like text contrast, keyboard use, focus that stays visible, labeled form fields, clear error messages, and buttons and links large enough to tap.
What we do
These are the measures we use on every page.
- Pages are built with semantic HTML, headings in order and labeled landmarks, so screen readers can move through them.
- Every function works with a keyboard, and the focus outline stays visible.
- Text and controls meet WCAG contrast levels, and color is never the only way information is shown. For example, an office's open or closed status is written out.
- Images that carry information have text alternatives. Maps come with the address in text and a directions link.
- Layouts work from small phone screens to large desktops without sideways scrolling, and text can be enlarged.
- Animation is kept short, and it is turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- The office finder works without location access: you can type a ZIP code or browse offices by state.
- We don't use accessibility overlay tools.
How we test
We check pages before each release and when templates change.
- Automated checks with axe at phone and desktop widths.
- Layout checks at screen widths from 320 to 1920 pixels for sideways scrolling.
- Checks that buttons and links meet minimum tap-target size.
- Manual keyboard checks of menus, the office finder, accordions and forms.
Booking and the 2-minute check
Booking and the 2-minute check run on a separate secure system at start.vitalitytestosteronereplacementtherapy.com. We hold it to the same WCAG 2.2 Level AA goal, including labeled fields, errors that screen readers announce, large tap targets and no puzzle-style CAPTCHA. If you have any trouble booking, call (866) 744-0454 and a coordinator can book for you.
Known limitations
Some content may not fully meet our goal yet, and we are working on it.
- Map images on office pages are pictures of a map. The same information is given as the street address in text with a link to directions.
- Documents from other organizations that we link to, such as drug labels and government pages, may not meet the same standard. We can read the relevant part to you by phone or send it in another format.
At our offices
If you need an accommodation at an office visit, such as help with access or a longer appointment, tell your coordinator when you book. Each office page lists accessibility details as the office provides them.
